“President Trump’s attempts to end the DACA program mirrors other inhumane approaches to immigration by this administration, which serve to push people into the shadows and demonize immigrants. I applaud the Supreme Court’s decision today to reject the politics of fear and protect hundreds of thousands of young immigrants in this country.
Today, young people across the Central Valley and the nation know that they are welcome in the United States of America. Now, it’s important we build off this progress by electing leaders who will work to create lasting, comprehensive reform to our immigration system and a pathway to citizenship. That’s what I will do in Congress.”
