THE CONTRAST IS CLEAR: After Nunes Urges Americans to Ignore Experts & Go to Bars, Challenger Arballo Institutes Work-From-Home Policy

FRESNO — Congressman Devin Nunes’ Democratic challenger and Latino Small Businessman Phil Arballo announced today that in adherence to the CDC’s Coronavirus guidelines his campaign staff will be working from home and all in person field and fundraising events have been postponed.

“While Congressman Nunes is choosing to ignore the recommendations of our nation’s foremost medical experts and is putting the Central Valley at risk, our campaign is doing what is needed to keep people across the community safe.

As of today, all Arballo for Congress staff will be working from home, but that doesn’t mean we will stop communicating with voters about the type of leadership they deserve. Through text messaging and other digital tools, our campaign will be making it clear that it is time to replace Devin Nunes with a representative who will follow the facts, believe science, and will always do what is best for The Valley.

We encourage everyone in the community to follow the procedures recommended by our health experts: stay home if you can, do not gather in groups, and wash your hands often. Do your part to keep our most vulnerable safe during this crisis.”

The decision from Arballo, comes on the heels of Devin Nunes jeopardizing the health of those in the Central Valley and once again becoming a national laughing stock by telling Fox News Sunday, “If you’re healthy, you and your family, it’s a great time to go out and go to a local restaurant, likely you can get in easy. Let’s not hurt the working people in this country…go to your local pub”.
