End Citizens United // Let America Vote Endorse Democrat Phil Arballo in CA-13 Primary

Fresno, CA— Today, Democrat Phil Arballo, running in California’s 13th Congressional District, announced he has been endorsed by End Citizens United // Let America Vote. The organizations have been integral in efforts to fight back against the influence of special interests and protecting the right to vote of every American.

End Citizens United // Let America Vote join a growing list of values-based organizations and local leaders who have endorsed Arballo in the contested Central Valley primary. These endorsements come at a critical moment as voters have less than a week to decide

End Citizens United // Let America Vote released the following statement in announcing their endorsement of Arballo:

“Phil Arballo is exactly what the people of California need in Congress to fight back against corporate special interests trying to stack the deck in their own favor. As California families struggle with rising costs–from gas prices to healthcare–Phil will go to Washington to fight for hardworking families by tackling climate change, making wealthy corporations and billionaires pay what they owe, and lowering the cost of prescription drugs,” said End Citizens United // Let America Vote President Tiffany Muller. “We’re thrilled to endorse Phil and look forward to helping him win.”

Responding to the endorsement, Phil Arballo made the following statement:

“Families in the Central Valley can’t afford to send another career politician to Congress who is bought and sold by corporations and special interests. I’ve never taken a dime from corporate PACs and I never will. We can’t sit back and watch as our right to vote, our ability to have free & fair elections and the values we stand for are undermined. I’m humbled to have the endorsement of End Citizens United // Let America Vote and look forward to standing with them as I fight for the hard-working families of the Central Valley.”
